"I actually bought these not for running, but for use with plastic-spiked baseball shoes for softball. The socks appear light gray in color with the contrasting spikes, and have a medium-light cushioning, and even look the baseball part. My foot size is usually 44 Euro/10. 5 US and these are perfect. Turned yellow

"I washed the white ones and they turned an odd yellow color. Five pair have done this! I only washed them with other white socks. There were no socks with color with them. I also used a Color Catcher. The first 3 pair turned yellow and I thought it was my fault. Then today I got 2 pair out of the wash and they were yellow, too! I washed with other white socks and they stayed white. He still has a few pair he hasn’t worn yet but they will probably turn yellow, too!"

How does the cushioning compare to the micro crew light hiker? I own many pairs of the light hiker and love them, but I want a white sock.
