"These socks are absolutely amazing. As a new person to become a customer of darn tough, I was very skeptical and purchased only one pair. After my first pair arrived and I tried them out for 12 hours in 105° summer weather. I was absolutely shocked when I took off my boots and there was barely an odor, at all! I immediately bought four more pair the next week. If I could give one piece of advice, buy one pair and take the test, you will not be disappointed. Very snug fit compared to other DT Large socks

"The socks seem to be constructed to the same high quality as my other DT socks. The padding is minimal on the foot and overall the sock fits very snug . . much more than any other DT sock I own. The first pair I tried I thought they sent the wrong size and then I tried the 2nd pair and it fit the same. Compared to my SW dress socks, these are not as comfortable or soft and fit much tighter. For reference re: sizing, I own 10 different types of DT socks, all in Large"

To much compression

"I have no complaints about the quality. The issue I have is the sock is worst than a compression sock. The compression on the calf’s is way to much. It’s so much I get indents in my calf. Never had a sock that did this dress or athletic. I’m thinking about returning than and will keep you posted how the return process goes"

"I love the standard cushioned crew socks! Have 3 pair and want more. I personally think they run a little small so I upped to XL. I can't imagine what a lifetime guarantee means. All socks get holes eventually. They're not inexpensive, but they are of Darn Good quality. I'll have to try out some different colors than navy blue, but if you have to wear just one pair of socks in life, this is probably the one."

"If you have foot odor problems, you need to try Darn Tough Merino socks. They manage sweat really well, but they're also naturally anti microbial which means when your feet sweat, they won't stink half as bad as usual. They're super soft and comfortable and will last you a very long time. I've switched all my socks to only darn tough socks and occasionally try different variations. This pair is a great addition."

looking to match darn tough socks I already wear -- can't find measurements for standard crew lightweight lifestyle or micro crew. The ones I have measure 7" heel to top just lying flat, 8" when wearing.
