The VanGrizzle was named after one of our own – it was his trail name on the AT. The Bear Town was named because it had a bear on it. Both are wonderful hiking socks regardless of which side you sit.

Machine wash in cold water on gentle cycle with socks inside-out. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low or hang dry. Do not dry clean.

Beware size guide misleading - for UK Womens

"There needs to be a size guide that specifies Womens UK sizes. Sadly the size guide for mens and womens are displaying the same chart and this has lead to the incorrect size being ordered as Christmas gifts. I have contacted support and I'm hopefully this can all be sorted."

Bit disappointed with the sizes

"The blue socks are the perfect size (I already had them in purple) but the dark are clearly made for bigger feet even if they say M as well. Is that an American shoe thing? It’s a shame because they are not cheap but I won’t be able to wear them as they clearly are too big for me. Will give them to a friend probably. Other than that, I adore them, when they fit. Great quality, doesn’t cause blisters."

Bears keep you company and comfortable on those long walks.

"Bought a pair these to go with two other pairs of other brand socks which was smart; so we could wash/dry, spare and wear a pair while on the Camino for three weeks. We ended up mostly wearing the Darn Tough socks because they were soooo comfortable, not smelly and the bears kept us company. Upon our return home we immediately bought two more bears - we love the bears!!"
