These are the Official Rules (the "Rules") governing the relationship between you, the entrant ("Entrant," "you," "your(s)"), and Cabot Hosiery Mills, Inc. d/b/a Darn Tough Vermont, a Vermont corporation with offices at 364 Whetstone Drive, Northfield, Vermont, 05663, United States of America ("Darn Tough Vermont," “we,” or “our”) when you enter the “Socks for Life Giveaway Sweepstakes” (the “Sweepstakes”). Any changes to these Rules will be posted on this web page.

By entering the Sweepstakes, you are agreeing to have your email address transferred to Darn Tough Vermont in the United States. Personal information submitted with your entry, which consists solely of your email address, is subject to both the Darn Tough Vermont Privacy Policy posted at https://darntough.com/pages/privacy-policy, and the Brand Access Privacy Policy posted at https://darntough.uk/pages/privacy-policy.

  1. How to Enter the Sweepstakes. To enter the Sweepstakes, you must: (a) provide your email address and click on the “Try Your Luck” button on the Sweepstakes pop-up or on the embedded form at https://darntough.uk/pages/win-socks-for-life; and (b) confirm that you have opted in to receive Darn Tough Vermont’s email newsletters by responding to the follow-up email that we send you. You have the right to opt-out of receiving our email newsletters at any time by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link in each email, but if you opt out before the winners are announced, you will also be simultaneously withdrawn from the Sweepstakes.
  2. Who is Eligible to Enter. The Sweepstakes is open only to individuals who are:
    1. legal residents of the United Kingdom;
    2. at least 18 years old at the time of entry; and
    You may only enter the Sweepstakes once. You may not enter more times by using different e-mail addresses.
  3. Agreement to Be Bound By these Rules. By participating in the Sweepstakes, you: (a) represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements set forth above; (b) have the legal capacity to enter the Sweepstakes and agree to the Rules; and (c) agree to be fully and unconditionally bound by these Rules and all decisions made by us relating to the Sweepstakes.
  4. Entry Period. Entries will be accepted online via the Website beginning on 1 January, 2026 and ending on 31 March, 2025 at 11:59 PM London time ("Entry Period").
  5. Prize. Three (3) winners will be chosen at random. Each winner will receive a special coupon code to purchase (free of charge) seven (7) pairs of socks chosen by the winner from in-stock inventory at https://darntough.uk/. All seven (7) pairs must be purchased in the same transaction. Brand Access will bear the cost of shipping each winner’s prize to a single address within the United Kingdom. Any other prize-related expense (e.g., non-VAT taxes that may be payable as a consequence of receiving a prize) are the sole responsibility of the winner.

    You are not guaranteed to be a winner of the Sweepstakes. Your chance of winning depends upon how many people enter the Sweepstakes.

    All Darn Tough Vermont socks (including those chosen by the winner) come with a lifetime guarantee, hence the title of the Sweepstakes, “Socks for Life.” For further details please visit our lifetime guarantee page at https://darntough.uk/pages/our-unconditional-lifetime-guarantee.

    The approximate retail value of the prize to each winner is £190, for a total approximate value of £570 to all 3 winners. The actual value may differ depending on which socks the winners choose to receive. No cash or other prize substitution is permitted.
  6. Winner notification. Winners of the Sweepstakes will be notified within five (5) days following winner selection (the “Award Notification”). Neither Darn Tough Vermont nor Brand Access will have any responsibility or liability for a winner's failure to receive an Award Notification due to a winner’s spam or other security setting, accidental deletion of the Award Notification, or an incorrect or non-functioning email address.
  7. Reservation of Rights by Darn Tough Vermont. We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes if any cause beyond our control corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes. In such case, we may, at our discretion, randomly select the winners from all valid entries. We further reserve the right, where we deem it necessary, to undertake all action as is reasonable in our sole discretion to protect ourselves against fraudulent or invalid claims. including, without limitation, voiding multiple entries from the same user, or requiring verification as to the identity, age, and residency of an Entrant or winner. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE RULES BY ANY PERSON MAY, AT DARN TOUGH VERMONT’S SOLE DISCRETION, RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION, AND ALL RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES OF SUCH PERSON WITH RESPECT TO THE SWEEPSTAKES WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.
  8. Release from Liability and Covenant Not to Sue.
    1. Release from Liability. To the extent permitted under applicable law, you hereby agree to hold harmless and release Darn Tough Vermont, Brand Access LLC, and their respective “Related Persons” (as defined in paragraph 12 below), from any liability or loss whatsoever arising out of or related to your participation in the Sweepstakes, including but not limited to your failure, for any reason, to receive an Award Notification (collectively, the “Released Claims”).
    2. Covenant Not to Sue. Unless prohibited by applicable law, you agree never to bring any claim, action, or proceeding against Darn Tough Vermont, Brand Access LLC, or their respective Related Persons, in any court, tribunal, or arbitral body, with respect to the Released Claims.
  9. Governing Law and Disputes: These Rules are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Should any of these conditions be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining conditions of participation. All disputes arising under or in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts; provided, however, that all disputes or issues arising out of or related to the use or handling of your personal information shall be exclusively subject to the respective Privacy Policies of Darn Tough Vermont and Brand Access LLC, as applicable.
  10. Severance. If any provision in these Rules is determined to be illegal, invalid, or otherwise unenforceable then the provision in question shall be severed and deleted from these Rules and the remaining Rules shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
  11. No Other Sponsorship. This Sweepstakes is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or in any way associated with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, or any other social media platform or any third party.
  12. Ineligibility of Interested Persons. Darn Tough Vermont, Brand Access, LLC, and each of their “Related Persons” are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. As used herein, "Related Persons” means Darn Tough Vermont’s and Brand Access’ respective directors, officers, employees, contractors, and each of their respective immediate family members and/or those living in the same household, as well as the respective affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and suppliers of Darn Tough Vermont and Brand Access, LLC, and the directors, officers, employees, contractors, and the respective immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each of the foregoing.
