"I was skeptical about trying a non-merino sock from DT. However, these Coolmax socks are legit. My feet stay cool, whereas they sweat in warmer temps in ultralight merino. I was also skeptical about the tab, but it's not overly bulky. Seamless construction and form fit provide all-day comfort. XL is perfect for size 13 men's shoes. I'll be buying more."

"Super soft and I like the cushion for road biking. They are nearly no show too. I live in a hot climate, Phoenix, and so I look for any cooling effect. So far, I’ve worn them 2-3 times and I like the feel. They are not as thick as the wool blends and so work better for summer activities."

"I bought these socks to wear for golf. I wanted a good quality sock because I walk and carry on a hilly course. These socks, with the cushion, are super comfortable for 18 holes. They stay in place for the entire round. I purchased another 4 pair to use all summer long."

Gets dirty instantly and impossible to clean

"These socks are comfortable, lightweight, and look good. . but that’s where it ends. They get dirty insanely fast, and nothing cleans them. I’ve used double the recommended Vanish White and even a pilling remover but still stained and I just stood with them on a gym floor during 10 min stretch. The worst part? There’s basically no alternative. White socks from Darn Tough are impossible to clean, black socks are too hot for summer, and the color selection is tiny and mostly very ugly. When there is a color I like, my size is never in stock, I’ve been checking monthly for over a year and a half one model and still not available!! I would never buy them again and wish I could get a refund but instead I'm stuck with an exchange policy with limited somewhat-ok-looking options!"

"Socks are a runners dream. I own a pair of Balegas, Thorlos, and every Nike/Adidas/Brooks sock on the market, and Darn Tough Coolmax Run No Show tabs are always my choice for long miles in the heat. The socks NEVER slide or bunch in my shoe (Balegas do), nor do my feet feel soggy due to sweat (Thorlos do). The best part: Darn Tough is guaranteed FOR LIFE. Nike, Adidas, and Brooks could NEVER match that kind of customer service and product quality. Whats more, Darn Tough socks have the slight compression and seam-free inner that makes every long run feel like you're tip toeing on the clouds. I own three pair of the no-shows and a few pair of the quarter length in the traditional Merino Wool blend. Love them all. DTV lifer."
