Unrivaled Durability

We make one thing, and we make it better than anyone else – ask any thru hiker and you will likely hear the same. In order to unconditionally guarantee a hiking sock for life, it must be durable. It must maintain its comfort, and it has to fit for miles upon miles on-trail. The socks that do return through warranty inform how we can improve. And we do. Our guarantee is a promise to you, but it’s a standard for us. We have yet to produce our best sock, but we get better with every step.

My go-to hiking socks. They

"My go-to hiking socks. They feel great even after 15+ miles and pair perfectly with my La Sportiva Ultra Raptor 3s. They stay in place, manage moisture well, and don’t cause hot spots or bunching. My only complaint is that they can feel a little warm on hot summer hikes, but overall they’re comfortable, durable, and my first choice for hiking."

Excellent Cost per Wear

"I have worn the Darn Tough Quarter Midweight for years. The cushioning is perfect for hiking and everyday activities. Pretty much the only socks I buy. The warranty is an added bonus. I wear these mostly in the summer and early fall/late spring. They usually last for eight years. Though I'm still wearing a pair from 2015."

Perfect quarter height addition

"I bought these for my husband in two colors. He loves them both! He only wears DT socks because of the comfort, color options, and the lifetime warranty (we have taken advantage of that over the years!). He recently decided he likes the quarter height better than the others, so these are a perfect addition to his ever growing collection of DT socks."

My Go-To Hiking Socks

"I've only had these socks for about 2 months and I've logged over 100 miles in them. Absolutely LOVE Darn Tough socks, this Hiker 1/4 Midweight with Cushion sock is my new go to!"

Steve P. (5/5)

Perfect

"The socks are exactly what I wanted. Good for warmer weather. Like all Darn Tough socks I've had, they are the best fitting and longest lasting by far. I am reluctant to take advantage of the Lifetime warranty because socks should wear out. However, in the rare occasions where it seemed that failure was possibly a flaw in the material that caused premature problems, Darn tough has been great at issuing replacements."

GEORGE R. (5/5)

Best socks.

"Darn Tough and Darn Comfy. I use them on my feet. :) If I need to write too much in a review I won't write it. My review actually ends after the word comfy and all of the rest of this is me just typing until the computer has deemed that I have written enough. I mean really, they are socks, what else do you want to know? They will replace them if you wear em out! Please now just let me post this review."

Aaron R. (5/5)

Amazing Warranty

"Darn Tough have an absolutely amazing warranty. I had a pair of their socks cut off in a medical situation . . . . and they replaced them, no fuss! I am so pleased with their customer service as well, very helpful."
