"First pair I've purchased. I was drawn in by the design, and hopeful it would work for long walks. They are not cushioned around the top, so I suggest wearing these with trainers/sneakers rather than ankle boots, of you're looking for more comfort around the ankle. For sizing: I'm a size 6. 5 UK / 8. 5 US, and the medium felt initially a little big on me. The small would probably have been too small. I expect after a few washings, it will feel like the right size. Washing: I didn't do anything special for UK. 30, normal spin, no heat to dry, just on the drying rack."
