"I've been trying to break in a pair of Docs for about 10 years. These are the first socks that have prevented the constant blisters from wearing Docs. However, there isn't enough cushion on the top of the socks to prevent the hard parts of the tongue from digging in. A shame."

"The wool does its job. My feet stay warm but the socks wick moisture instead of going clammy, and I have noticed a real drop in foot odor after a long day compared to my old socks. They do not need washing every day either. I have washed this pack several times over the past month and they still feel brand new, no thinning, no sag, no worn spots. They cost more than a basic sock, but between the comfort, the wool wicking, and the fact that Darn Tough guarantees them for life, I have zero regrets. If I have a choice, this is what goes on my feet. Buying more."

"The materials are great and as advertised. As a larger person (football player sized individual) I bought the largest socks available. The portion over the foot is perfect, however the portion above the foot/ankle needs to be slightly looser as it squeezed and caused marks and itching at the end of the day. We do not want to sacrifice quality and specific needs just for looser socks. You should design socks that have an option of having larger leg sizes without sacrificing the quality and design of the foot portion."

“OK” socks, but quite tight on the bend and not as comfortable as M&S workwear socks.

"I go through many pairs of socks a year, so I’ve purchased this 3 set to see if I can save a little by having them last longer. The hiker variety set gives me 3 types of socks to try. I wear size 15 shoes, and these larger size are a bit too long in the foot area. Also. They are quite tight around the top of my foot on the bend up the leg. Can’t comment on longevity, but certainly not anywhere close to the comfort of M&S workwear socks. Will persevere and report back with an adjusted rating if they prove their worth over time. I wouldn’t normally post a review, but I got a mail asking for one, so here you go…"
